What we lay

Driveways: Paver driveways that take car traffic, with a dug-out, compacted base under them.
Patios and landings: Back patios in large slabs, landings at the bottom of steps and paved areas around drains.
Walkways and entries: Straight or curved walkways, side-yard paths and entries laid around a door mat, often with river rock along the edge.
Shed pads: A level paver pad with a timber border keeps a shed square and off wet ground.
Patterns and borders: Herringbone, two-tone, big slabs, mixed sizes and charcoal borders. Send a photo of a look you like.

Paver questions

What goes under a paver driveway?

We dig out the soil, lay and compact a gravel base, screed a level bedding layer, then lay the pavers and fill the joints with sand. The base is what keeps a driveway from sinking.

Pavers or poured concrete?

Pavers come in more colours and patterns, and a damaged section can be lifted and relaid. A crack in poured concrete is much harder to fix.

Can you add a border or a pattern?

Yes. Herringbone, two-tone, large slabs, mixed sizes and charcoal borders. Send us a photo of a look you like.

Do you build shed pads?

Yes. A level paver pad with a timber border keeps a shed square and off wet ground.
